Alandra K. Harlingten
Alandra K. Harlingten joined Lovett Westmacott as an Associate on April 1, 2018. Alandra graduated from Dalhousie University's Law School in May 2013 and, in October 2016, obtained her Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall specializing in constitutional law. Prior to joining Lovett Westmacott, Alandra was legal counsel with the Ministry of Attorney General's Constitutional and Administrative Law Section for four years. During that time, she appeared as counsel in civil actions, judicial reviews and appeals in the BC Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court of Canada. Alandra practices in the areas of administrative, human rights, privacy and constitutional law providing both advice and representation in litigation.
Alandra is a contributing author to the CanLii BC Litigation Manual and the CLE Administrative Law Manual. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria where she co-coaches the Gale Cup moot team and often lectures on the topics of administrative law and advocacy.
